"The beautiful thing about rugs is that they’re another canvas for artistic expression," says Barnett. Our Malene Barnett Bogolan Rug is inspired by the handmade Bogolan fabrics from Mali, and features modern geometric patterns and linework that pay homage to the Bamana people’s textile traditions. “Mudcloth textiles have such beauty in their sense of dimension and movement, And the rug reflects that by offering different experiences depending on its placement in a room.”
